We are attracted to the brightness, the sunshine and the brilliance. But I was always drawn to the shadows, fog and the rain. When the light is just right there are two subjects, the main one and its’ shadow. Rain makes things cling and reflect. Fog obscures and reveals, at the same time. It’s a fascinating set of contradictions.
